About Hampton Roads High School Lacrosse:

The Hampton Roads Lacrosse League (HRLax) oversees both the boys and girls high school divisions.

The HRLax High School Division’s mission is to provide a structured league for the benefit of public* high school lacrosse clubs as they work toward school-sponsored school-board approved VHSL team status.

HRLax member teams are required to observe and comply with both the spirit and the letter of the HRLax League and their Division rules and regulations.

*The private high school lacrosse teams in the Hampton Roads area belong to the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools (TCIS) within the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA).  HRLax has a policy to support the private school teams by implementing policies to ensure players are encouraged to play for the school they attend. Therefore, players who attend a private school with a lacrosse team, and are able to play for the team, are not eligible to participate on an HRLax HS team.
