HRLax Weather Policy

HRLax follows the guidlines and policies of US Lacrosse regarding incliment weather.  For a detailed description of lightning severity, procedures and recommended actions of US Lacrosse click here --->  LIGHTNING Policy

Lightning:  If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, all players/coaches and officials shall vacate the field and seek safe shelter. Once lightning is seen, play will be suspended for 30 minutes after the last occurrance/flash.

Resumption of Activity:  There will be a 30 delay between the last sound sound of thunder and flash of lightning before activity is resumed.  The 30 minute clock is "re-set" if more activity is heard or seen.  Activity does not mean resumption of the game, it refers to ANY players/coaches/officials re-entering the field of play to warm up prior to resumption of play.

Divisional rules for games suspended due to inclement weather/lightning:

Girls & Boys Youth Division (including Softstick):  details pending
Girls & Boys High School Division:  details pending
